Impact at work

I’m Ilan Shenkar, I research, consult and create proven ways to align people's needs with work needs so it adds value to our daily life.

My expertise is in human capital development, workforce planning, and business design.

If one does not know to which port one is sailing, no wind is favorable.

Sometimes we are required to decide fast, under stress and uncertainty. While it may not be ideal, we might not have a choice but to try.

I work with decision-makers to design new or existing processes to overcome human challenges in the areas of education, training, and recruiting.

I’m also designing my own solution to help job candidates go from training programs to workplaces in a smoother way.

My Superpowers 🦸🏻‍♂️

Networks of Trust

As a self-made entrepreneur, I’m accountable for my actions, for the people I’m responsible for, and to deliver what I promised. This is what builds my reputation and ability to refer people based on personal connections.

Resilient and Adaptable

I’m a translator able to explain various topics without others feeling left out because of unfamiliar jargon. I also shift between, mindsets, and moods quite quickly.

Empathy

I’m able to see myself in other people’s shoes. It allows me to better understand complex situations. In professional matters applying human-centric design allows me to learn insights and set interventions to influence people's motivations and behavior and establish relations based on trust.

Impact & Purpose

I’m driven by making a positive impact and contributing to sustainable goals.

Personally, I involve emerging talents in my projects when possible, because we all need a chance to start something remarkable, right?

Techy

Will sit for hours to compare features of SaaS products, play with them, read full versions of research reports, and will consult the most accurate people to understand the big picture before I roll up my sleeves.

Interdisciplinarity

An interesting blend of tech, business, and social background allows me to see problems from various perspectives, and find different ways for problem-solving.
